    Just perfect

I wanted to get into drawing anime more often, but the market and social media is saturated with the same style, plus I didn't want to experiment creating brushes just for me, I wanted a set of tools ready to use. Then, I found Retro Supply's tutorials on Youtube and actually commented on it and received a recommendation to buy the Comic Artist Toolkit. I bought it and it has been an amazing experience overall. I was even inspired to create my social media profiles for art, thanks both to the tools and the tutorials. I'm uploading the first piece I did with the toolkit.

    Worth every penny

I spent ages trying to nail my own brush specs in Procreate to get my halftone colouring to look on the page like it looks in my head.

When I found the Artist Toolkit, I figured it was worth a shot for ColorLab, which I had heard great things about. The tutorials on the RetroSupply YouTube page also made it really easy to jump in.

What I didn’t expect was to fall head over heels in love with Duplitone, and Phantom Paper. I’m obsessed with shading in Duplitone, and the preset percentage brushes make blending a breeze, and Phantom Paler makes everything pull together in a way that I’m not used to in Digital.

If you’re looking for a sign to jump into the bundle with both feet, just do it. Worth every penny and then some, couldn’t imagine using ColorLab without Duplitone and Phantom Paper.

(I even jumped into Inferno Ink to go all the way, just so so impressed with RetroSupply’s quality of tools, as well as the amount of supporting documentation they include).

    Color Comics the Marvel Way!!

I am developing an anthology comic that is heavily inspired by EC & Warren comics such as "Tales from the Crypt", "The Haunt of Fear", "Eerie", "Campirella", etc, and the Retro Supply brushes provide the perfect way to emulate those older comic art styles. Marvel Age #13 (a Marvel News magazine) describes the exact same color process and even provides some of the color codes for famous character like Captain America and The Hulk!

    Blown Away

It’s been a delight to not only learn the color process through Retro Supply’s thorough explanations, but it’s also been an extremely useful tool when it comes to getting the results I had hoped for. This package is most definitely worth the bang for its buck!
