A Sneak Peak at The Woodland Wonderland Brush Kit and Tutorial Pack

Woodland Wonderland - Photoshop Brush Tool Presets

Remember the classic Golden Book illustrations from your childhood? For anyone born in the past 50 years these books bring back warm memories.

Brad Woodard and I are both huge fans of these books. So when we were talking about what sort of RetroSupply pack to make next a Golden Books style brush pack was at the top of the list.

Introducing the Woodland Wonderland Brush Kit & Tutorial Pack

This pack is like discovering a box of real media brushes from a Golden Books illustrator. You'll find a diverse collection of different types of media brushes. Each brush was designed to harmonize with the rest of the collection to create magic when you're illustrating.

Here's what the pack includes:

  • 28+ Photoshop Brush tool presets with pressure sensitivity (perfect for working on a tablet).
  • Includes gouache, rough fillers, pencils, pens and watercolors.
  • Built using Golden Book style art as reference material.
  • Each brush was approved by Brad Woodard and myself for quality and accurate emulation of media from the era.
  • Detailed video tutorials that teach you exactly how to how to create an illustration like you see on the cover (taught by Brad Woodard of Brave the Woods)

We dug deep when we made this pack. We wanted to create a pack that was designed to help you spark fresh ideas and breath new life into your illustrations.

But what makes this pack super-fun and different is the tutorials. We'll guide you through how to build out your concepts in a series of high-quality videos.

Woodland Wonderland Photoshop Brush Tutorials

I seriously can't wait to make this pack available to you!

We'll be launching the pack on Wednesday, April 27th on RetroSupply and Creative Market. You're not going to want to miss this!

Seriously, can't wait to make this available to you guys!

P.S. The critters in the illustration are named The Furry Bottom Boys Band. We've got a Woodland Wonderland exclusive jingle we're releasing with the pack. I guarantee it will put a smile on your face!
