Big Gig is a rough wood cut style font perfect for gig posters to help get the word out there.

“The reason for creating Big Gig is I wanted a rougher looser font for gig poster work that could be easily stretched and manipulated to fit a space in a composition but also have synergy with my illustration.” – Travis Price

Big Gig includes uppercase and lowercase, punctuation and numbers, and 50+ glyphs. Also included in the package is the illustrator file of the sample images.

    Bold & Beautiful

I have bought this elegant Font which seems to scream (in the most melodious way) modern gothic for a forthcoming comics project. I decided to test it out quickly on the thumbnail for a music video. It imported effortlessly and worked as you would hope in PixelmatorPro. Dramatic but highly legible.

    Not a classic blackletter typeface

This is more a Fraktur than a classic blackletter. I think of the most common blackletter uses is Mexican blackletter, which is hoped this would be. This is super Germanic and kinda has that 1930's German feel to it, which is not a great look these days.

    An amazing retro font!

I admit that I have a weird addiction to cool, retro fonts. There are really not very many places to find quality retro styled fonts and textures, but the ones I've purchased from RetroSupply have been the ones I always go to and use over and over again. I always look forward to the new fonts and other tools that come out from RSCo, as they are exactly what I need, and in a way that makes my art much more the style I'd prefer it to be.

Once again, another great addition from RetroSupply!
