You don't have to struggle to create awesome t-shirts people want to buy. There's a path that makes the whole process easier.

Introducing The Beginner's Guide to Making T-shirts That Sell: An online workshop that teaches you everything from researching a concept to creating your design to prepping for print.

The idea that you can't make money selling shirts is bull****. You just have to think a little differently.

In the past year I've made extra money for my business largely due to shirt sales. I have friends who have made a lot more.

Clark Orr helped make Johnny Cupcakes a multimillion dollar business with his shirt design.

I've heard enough of these stories to know it's not a fluke. It just takes good design skills, a marketing mindset, and the willingness to try and fail. Yes, some lucks involved.

Making t-shirts isn't just about the money.

Building a side hustle selling your shirts is neat. Who wouldn't love to make a few hundred or thousand dollars a month selling shirts?

But it's not the only benefit.

Respect from peers, more job opportunities, and new clients can all result from creating a side hustle. Self initiated work shows designers, employers, and clients that you're driven by passion.

Clark Orr has built a loyal following, awesome clients, and a killer business largely from the knowledge and passion he brought to Johnny Cupcakes.

    Here's what you'll get

Recordings of our live webinar where we go over the process- from discovering what your audience wants, to building the concept, to printing. We've broken down those parts in the "Here's What You'll Learn" section below.

There's not enough time during the webinar to create the entire design for the shirt. Brad made this illustration tutorial to go in-depth on how he created every part of the illustration.

If you're an illustrator and want to pick up some new illustration tricks you're going to love this!

Get the brushes Brad used to create the example illustration in the course to use on your own illustration projects. Includes TIFF textures and brushes for Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

The best t-shirt mock-ups you can find from our friends at Cotton Bureau.

Easily recreate the texture of your favorite t-shirt– just place your graphic into the file and save. You can customize the shirt dye color to any color you want and choose from 8 different textures.

Get an additional set of diverse brushes to use in your projects including halftones, natural pen brushes, line brushes, and more.  Includes TIFF textures and brushes for Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

    Here's what you'll learn

Meet our panelists and learn get an overview of their expertise and the topics they will be covering in the other parts.

Learn how to find a concept that makes your shirt irresistible to buyers.

In this section of the workshop we'll cover discovering what your audience wants and testing your assumptions about what people will buy.

So you've go an awesome concept and you've chosen your subject matter. But it's all in vain if you don't make any sales.

Learn the who, what, and when of selling your shirt, and building excitement about your launch.

    PART 4. Q & A

We've presented a lot of information up to this point. During the Q & A, you'll hear some  questions from of the live participants (they're probably some of the same questions you'll have) and each panelist will weigh in with their answer.

Watch Brad Woodard show and tell about how he built the concept for our Mystery Tee from searching through Hardy Boys books with me, to loose sketch, to final polished work.

Plus, we'll give you the resources we used to develop our idea so you can use them we you create your own shirt.

Delivering files to a screen printer can be intimidating. Mistakes can be costly. In this section we'll have our friend Lenny Terenzi join us from Hey Monkey Design.

Lenny has ran a popular screen printing shop for 5 years and is ready to give you his best tips and answers your questions.

Plus, you'll "know a guy" so when you need some sweet shirts printed or just a tip he's just an email away.

      If it was easy...

That's the ol' phrase that echoes through my head every time I entertain the idea of setting the world on fire with an amazing new line of t-shirts the likes of which humanity has never seen. It's not easy! There's a lot of work that goes into setting the world on fire, who knew? The guys break it down in easy to digest bits, make it fun and friendly, and offer more than a few bright lights.

      Fantastic and helpful discussion!

So great! The four of you were so informative, honest, and realistic about expectations. I very much appreciate the absence of a “don’t do it it’ll never work” energy—it’s never fun when someone who wants to “help” starts telling you that you’re an idiot for attempting something creative.

I’d have liked a bit more insight into print on demand, but I get that you guys are way more advanced than that. Overall though, so helpful and fun! And the four of you are hilarious!

Here are some Tee concepts If created (before I took the workshop but still…). Thanks again RetroSupply!

      Great! Would love subtitles

So far I've gotten 4 lessons into the course and love it. The only thing I would suggest for improvement on it is if you could pretty please add subtitles. Overall, this course is a great resource. I can't wait to finish the rest of it. :D
