A love of comic books and strips has followed me all my life. I draw to learn and for my own entertainment, always looking for downloads that might help me replicate the inks and fonts I saw in print. Toom has given me amazing fonts to use along with ColorLab, making creative drawing an absolute blast. Quite simply, RetroSupply feels like coming home. The range of paper textures, inks and fonts are the best, so good that I no longer need to shop around.

RSCO has the best and coolest products out there, hands down. Everything is extremely easy to use and figure out and very intuitive. I have bought A LOT of their products (brushes, paper texture, fonts, etc), and they are so authentic and top notch. And they are on it with customer service. They have responded to my messages time and time again and have always been extremely helpful. Great company with great products and great customer service. I'd give 11 stars but 5 is the limit. "But this goes to 11..."

I was looking for vintage papers but not the ones that look like hidden below a sewer pipe, I wanted vintage papers with attitude of former glory, recognizable.
I found the Funny papers pack and got it. Inside you have 3 folders of papers according to region and so far, I've used at least 5 of each on my designs. They give this subtle "old print" feeling without falling into a grunge category.

I do a lot of cartooning and humorous illustrations in Procreate and was having a heck of a time finding a font that mimic that 1950’s horror-adventure comic book look I desperately needed. I finally stumbled on RetroSupply Co’s “TOOM” download and now I’m able to match that “look” I wanted for my own parody work! By golly, now I’m producing graphic works that look good enough to be banned! Thanks, RetroSupply Co!!! Now, how about helping me out with some of the legal fees I’ve incurred? (Just kiddin’ … but, seriously, thanks for filling a need I didn’t think I ever find.)

I’ve been playing around with comic book illustrations for my classes. Halftone brushes and digital distressing for that vintage feel got me part way, but I just couldn’t get the font right. Son of Toom struck the perfect note. The other fonts in the pack completed the chord.
